today did nothing.bored.but going out tomorrow!!!heehee i wonder what i'm gonna say to my tution teacher when we meet since it has been a lot time~~~

watched a show today.title is "An elephant's tale"its really touching and i even cried (no real human being woundn't!!!)!!!The show is like an documentary. All characters are real elephants.i think they just add the voice into it.Other than that, its pure documentary. The plot is about a baby elephant. He leds a wonderful and happy life until the hunters came.To save the baby elephant, the mother elephant urged it to ran away and hide.promising that she will find him later..unfortunely,days have passed but the mother elephant is still no where to be seem.luckily, another family of elephant came and discovered the baby elephant.Reluctantly, one of the herd "promised" the baby elephant to help him look for his mum.Since the baby elephant has no name, the herd called him whispers (cos he can't trumpet, sort of insulting actually)As most story goes, whispers is totally looked downed by the herd bt luckily,he found a good friend there.her name is Groove. The relationship between whisper and Groove is really sweet and funny.they always argue with each other but when it comes to a time in need, both never fails to risk their lives.Hope for whispers to meet his mother is dim as his mum is facing no other than humans themselves!(hunters) BUt eventually there is a happy ending.Little whispers did found her mum moreover he also gain acknowledgement from the herd of elephant whom once looked down at him. However, the sadest thing is that Groove died in the end...

Its really sad when you realised what humans have done to animals just for that small white tusk they have.Although this may be just a movie but its pure reality that there are poachers out there..it really aches to see how human have treated the animals.so what if we dominate the world?Since we have no need of their meat, why harm them?

anyway,i found a review on the movie, guess it will give a better picture than i have :)

Filmed in Botswana and featuring live-action footage of elephants, WHISPERS is the tale of a baby elephant's struggle to survive when his herd is attacked by "Takers" (poachers). As the Takers approach, Whispers' mother, Gentle Heart (voiced by Anne Archer) admonishes him to run as fast as he can, promising him that she will find him later. Whispers (voiced by Debi Derryberry) finds another herd led by Half-Tusk (voiced by Joanna Lumley). Half-Tusk's sister, Groove (voiced by Angela Bassett) usually brings up the rear, ensuring that the ranks are safe, but when she gets tired of taking orders from her sister, Groove leaves the herd with Whispers underfoot. She becomes a reluctant mother figure, growing more and more attached to the youngster as they face constant danger from poachers and lions, as well as the lack of water that accompanies the dry season. WHISPERS is a heartfelt tale of the power of love, the importance of family and the strength of promises. Some of Hollywood's best-known talents lend their voices to WHISPERS: AN ELEPHANT'S TALE, including Betty White, Alice Ghostley, Joan Rivers, and Tone Loc.
